The Den

 The atmosphere was pleasant at first 

The trees waved as I passed by

The rattling sound of lizards came to my notice.

I saw beautiful and handsome faces as I passed by

I saw people move one place to another in haste

I perceived different kinds of perfumes.

I saw a girl whose canvas shone like the sun

I met a guy whose words could make u smile

I met a lecturer whose mean words could fail a student.

I met a lecturer who told me "I wasn't supposed to be in his class"

I met a masters student who told me not to give up.

I met friends who stood by me when I almost lost it. 

I met a girl who could write 3000 words in an exam 

I met a boy who couldn't write up to 2 lines in an exam

I met another who was eaten by the den. 

I met a boy who had talent but failed in school

I met another who was taken away by death 

In all i met a surviver who cried over the years spent smiled and said 

I overcame I survived in the den I am a lion
